This will be the first of many "Guest Blogger Interviews"!  Get excited!  Let me introduce you to my dear friend Cameron.  Our friendship began in high school on the field hockey field (yes we wore the cute plaid skirts with cleats, shinguards, mouthguards, etc.).  She is my fashion consultant (that probably scares her considering how I dress half the time).  She is up on all the hottest trends, no matter what the subject matter might be.  She's extremely bright, very hard-working, and very fun-loving!  So, without further adieu:

I work in sales for an energy consulting company.

Do you "scan" {or equivalent}, if so, what were your last two scans:

I thought you'd never ask!  I do scan frequently.  These two (scanned yesterday) were in Blueprint magazine (a personal fav):

What’s the last thing you bought online:

I am a FREQUENT online shopper, guilty pleasure--- but consider it more of a necessity!

Here are a few of my most recent purchases:

iControl Ironman Watch (birthday present for my mom...could also be good for a Christmas gift now) You can control your ipod from your watch.  Easy to change songs and volume w/o pulling it out of your pocket/case.

These corduroys are a little over priced, but if you can't wear jeans to your place of work, then they're especially worth it.  For you shorter girls, the short length is perfect for flats or a low heel.  I think their "short" inseam used to be 29" and now it's 31" which is much better.  Also, plenty of color selection.  I don't have the "farmhouse red" but I think that might be my next color of choice.

Favorite Room in your house:

My bedroom.

{let me (erika) take this opportunity to tell you about her bedroom... it is GREAT (she (like Katie- gold crib featured in "paint post") has great taste and is brave!), deep gray walls, white linen draperies banded in deep citron yellow, citron yellow and white bedskirt, and that Victoria Hagan fabric (above) on skirted bedside tables, and I believe her bed is the Stafford from C&B}

What’s on your desk:

Lots of unorganized papers, pictures pinned up on the walls of my cube and a pink lamp that needs a new light bulb.

What perfume do you wear on a regular basis:

 

Fresh brand--- it's a pear scent (not pictured)....I HIGHLY recommend their deodorant.  It's kind of pricey, but it lasts forever. {cam, I can't believe I've got deodorant on my blog- it must be good!?}

Random Dinner Recommendation:

If you happen to be in

over the holidays or something......I was there for work this week and we ate dinner at a place called Park Avenue Cafe.  Well, since it's Autumn right now, it's called Park Avenue Autumn-- they change the decor (which was amazing) and the menu every season. 

Something on your Christmas List:

Practical request:

Luggage--- anyone have any suggestions?  I'd like a good bag with wheels and then some kind of carry-on bag.  There are plenty of "cute" ones out there, but I want a one that looks professional, but still cute. {Cam, daddy would suggest Filson (featured above)... too masculine?}

Not practical request:

Probably more on my wish list vs. actual gifts I would receive on a Christmas list.

I LOVE IT! My answers to these questions would be rather amusing... especially describe your bedroom. Maybe I'll photograph it and post it on the blog... no bed skirt & sheets hanging over the window... a very classy & timeless look! Thanks Cam for your "guest blog" entry!
