In my absence I wish I could say I've been on the beach or on a vacation... far, far from it. Been working my fanny off... here's what I was up to last week
I designed the dining room china cabinet... cabinet shop built. The hardware on the cabinet is natural (un-coated) brass and will patina out to match the chandelier. Ralph Lauren table and chairs. The rug is seagrass with a lizard/alligator leather binding... draperies will be (not yet up) Scalamandre Luca Linen (yes, my all time favorite fabric) shown below:
I greatly appreciated the help of my brother-in-law for a few days! {Check out his calves!} He was a God-send... I don't know many men (his real job is an Archaeologist) who would be so patient (there was a lot of art to hang) and willing to help. These clients both have a study (his & hers) in the house (which I think is genius). She loves pink - so we went for it! He, on the other hand, opted for a more masculine look... Brunschwig & Fils "On Point" in Tobacco for his office draperies:
Draperies going up are Dedar's Andalusa (a wonderful fabric for draperies - it's 130" wide!).
Sorry no real wide-angle shots... still got a ways to go on this one.

Wow! That's beautiful! I wish we could've sold them my dining room suit!!

Great to work with you Brooke. It is truly a beautifully decorated house--and what about that artwork?! When I got back to Dothan, I didn't eat for two days and wore jeans and boots to prove I was still a man!

Okay, I LOVE LOVE LOVE those pictures. I especially like that you would love to decorate for free! Maybe when you're retired, you can come decorate for me!(just kidding!) You are so talented. By the way, I'm very jealous of where you live. What does it feel like to be able to see the ocean whenever you want?

Recent admit here. So, Boalt doesn't ask for a seat deposit, but do they ask for a tuition deposit before financial aid comes out? Thanks!
