So yesterday morning (pre-spin class) I blogged about Loquat trees and how I've been dreaming of one.
That very evening (last night) after work I pulled in the driveway at the house and there sat a Loquat tree.
(the back yard is a major work in progress... remember my afore mentioned "what to do with the bare spot in the back yard" - well there it is- I wish I could photoshop it out.) The other 2 side-kicks are ferns...
I could not believe my eyes! Where did these come from!?
"Blog fairy came to visit!?"
"Did someone read my blog and buy me a Loquat!?" (funny, right?)
No, not the case. But I do have a fanastic husband who doesn't read my blog and had no idea I had been drooling over online Loquats (well, he occassionally reads my blog, but not regularly), but he does talk to a landscaping genius who I often drive crazy with my gardening antics and never-ending plant questions who I once told "geez Sam, I'd like a 15 gallon Loquat tree if you ever see one for cheap". Well that good-ole-boy pulled thru, called the ole hubby this very day and said "found a tree for your wife".
I'm glad it's not just my husband not reading blogs!
So glad your blog fairy/husband came threw with an awesome plant!

Just wanted to say I've been "stalking" you for a while now via Kristy (Dean) Crawford's blog....I am a fellow auburnite, and remember you and your sister vaguely...but I just wanted to say hey and LOVE the work you do! and your sister's house...I was checking out all the work they've done the other night and its gawgeous! Just wanted to say hello-being courteous and leaving a comment! ;)

Oh I kinda' wish it HAD been a blog fairy. Because then I would have a bit of hope blogging about all the clothes I want, the bathroom remodel, shoes, the list is endless. I have more chance of a blog fairy coming through than my husband!

According to the "daily guru" when you manifest "stuff" it comes to you, hence, psalm 23.

Sometimes they need a little nudge, don't they? Congrats on your lovely loquat.

Oh my gosh I love your blog. You are hesterical! I love your tree, I also obsess about having "great varieties" in my yard. You know a giant fig tree a meyer lemon tree a lime tree and the infamous olive orchard (did I mention I live in central Oklahoma and not Tuscany?). Oh and about spinning...amen sister! I love kickboxing but was talked into a circuit training class a couple of months ago, part of the circuit was spinning for 3 minutes and I couldn't even hang for that long. Like you I was thinking "I can ride a bike, I was the only girl in my neighborhood that could keep up with the the boys and ride from dawn til dusk.....WRONG! So I feel your pain. Keep us posted on your yard progress so I can live vicariously (sp?) through you. Have a great day, Paula

My husband reads my blog in spurts, then make sure to mention it. I find it somewhat endearing.

It's all about the timing - sounds like it was perfect!

Loquats are the best. They're all getting ripe here in N.California, and I am so tempted to stop and pick the fruit off of peoples trees when I see them...
