Nicole over at Kirei Nest did a little interview with moi... on a very relevant topic these days: NESTING. Nicole, thanks for having me, it sure was fun to think about my favorite and most useful household items!

TGIF blogger friends!!!!!!!! Long week anyone? My baby bump is big, making work (and climbing stairs) ever more difficult with each new day. That's okay, as my sister says "that baby is easier to care for in the belly than she is when she comes out"... so I'm hanging in there!
It's not new news, but in my opinion the best thing in blogland today... Joni's post on Sally Wheat. Yes, round 2 stalking. It's gotten even better than it was last time.
I'm sure a lot of you read Cote de Texas, but for those of you who don't... you are missing out. Joni has the most in-depth and informative design-related posts in all of blogland. Thank you Joni for always inspiring, and thank you Sally for sharing your world with us!
PS: I also thoroughly enjoyed Joni's post on Seagrass Rugs last week.
It's another beautiful day here in Florida. Not trying to rub it in... just sharing. And don't worry I'm not out enjoying the sunshine riding bikes, sipping lemonade, playing tennis, or anything fun like that, just looking at it through my office windows. But I should mention... dinner is in the crock-pot... I love it when I have it enough together to make dinner at lunch time. All is well here folks.
Yesterday Camila @ High-Heeled Foot In The Door posted an interview she did with moi, you might enjoy reading it... here. Thank you Camila!
One question she asked stumped me a little... and I was surprised by how much thought I had to give it... I thought it would come to me quickly and it didn't. This was the question:
What is your favorite all-time movie that you would have loved to have been the set decorator for?
Recognize this place below? That was my final answer. George Banks' place.
What would your answer be? Please tell.
I get quite a few emails and various questions here and there. A few weeks ago someone emailed me and asked about an industrial pendant in an enamel finish... just found some. I found them here, yet I cannot recall how I found myself there.
But while I was there... I also saw these. And they made me happy. Reminded me of my friends in Boston.
And over the door... a Golden Cod looks like this:
And speaking of Golden... I've been enjoying a blog my sister turned me on to, it's called Whatever and in their family there is a Goldendoodle... his name is Waffle, and he makes me laugh.
Many thanks to Terri Sapienza at The Washington Post for mentioning my blog in her top 10. I am very honored! Here's the article below... and you can read it yourself here!!!
Each week I scour the Internet, reading more than 300 design blogs to direct readers to the best and most beautiful posts. Today, to mark the one-year anniversary of Blog Watch, I share my 10 favorites in alphabetical order. I look forward to reading these blogs and find myself going back to them again and again, even when it has nothing to do with work.
1. Absolutely Beautiful Things
3. Decorno,
7. Oliveaux
8. Style Court
10. Velvet & Linen

This ain't your typical bunny blog:
I am fascinated by Fifi Lapin, the most fashionable rabbit in the world.
What is it about a rabbit in designer clothes that always makes me smile? Every time I see the tips of Fifi's ears scroll thru my Google Reader account I cannot wait to see what she's wearing! Usually what's better than her outfit is what she has to say... she's a funny bunny.
Today she was inspired by Tommy Hilfiger.
Go check her out! (and on a random, but appropriate side note: legs that long should be illegal)
I wonder what Fifi's house looks like? Don't you?
Hey... I'm not here today... but over there! Seleta interviewed me and I hope I don't bore anyone to tears. She dubbed me fierce... I'll take it.
On another fierce note...
did yall see what Miss Havisham bought? She never disappoints. She is freakin' hilarious.
