Utter delight when this popped up on my screen.  You see, I missed Grandaddy's birthday dinner on Sunday, but my s-i-l emailed me this wonderful picture.  It's not everyday that you get to see your grandaddy in a sombrero:

Is it just me, or is she hilarious sitting (perched on the edge of the bed) like that?

PS- Have you all seen what a talented seamstress my sister is?  If only I could talk her into trying draperies and bedding! Check out that darling camper trailer & train get-up that she's made!

As someone suggested (was it my sister?), I won't leave you empty handed.

Do you have Spanish Moss where you live? We have it all over our yard and I love it... this long drippy piece got repositioned in the storm over the weekend... it makes me happy.

Today feels like Wednesday... because Saturday felt like Monday and Sunday felt like Tuesday, never fear though my friend Marla gave me this gift card, and it is keeping me alive.

Incase you are wondering, it is still raining.

 

Is it bad when you can't get a table cleared off and have to work on the floor?
